Business Forms is a unique sector of the printing industry and one that has been affected by the conversion from dot matrix to laser printers. However these businesses have all continued to evolve and develop products that ensure their sector of the market remains an active part of the printing industry. The NZBFA and the links it has with overseas organisations play an important role in the continuing education and development of member companies.
The conference was a multi-faceted event. It took in the winners of the annual Forms Competition, the winner of the Apprentice of the Year Awards, the AGM of the NZBFA and provided an opportunity for members, who are spread from Dunedin to Auckland, to meet and discuss issues relevant to this sector of the industry.
The winners of both the Forms Competition and Apprentice of the Year were announced on Saturday evening at a function held at the Wearable Arts and Collectable Cars Museum. This was a spectacular venue and everyone spent just as much time gazing at the Bizarre Bras as they did at the cool cars.
