Snap names best franchises at in-house awards

The Spencer St-based outlet picked up the National Top Sales Performance Award at Snap’s annual awards earlier this month, having picked up the same gong last year.

Snap Caringbah took out the National Sales Growth Award and National Sales Achievement Award, meaning that it had both the greatest dollar value sales growth and greatest percentage sales growth respectively.

The Corporate Sales Performance Award went to Snap Westpac Copy Centre.

Snap chief executive Grant Vernon said: “In the current climate, it is extremely satisfying to see so many of our centres with impressive sales figures.”

Meanwhile, Snap Eastwood owners Jason O’Connor and Lisa Dupen (pictured) picked up the Paddy Thompson Award for franchise owner of the year, which recognises franchise owners who have made an outstanding contribution to their business, their community, and Snap as a whole.

Snap Wollongong took out the award for Best Performing Centre in a Regional Territory, while Rob Mihalic from Snap Homebush and Mike Waugh from Snap Melbourne shared the Best New Franchise Owner award.

Snap operates 147 print centres across Australia. The company announced at its recent national convention that it is expanding outside print, as competition from Asia and online publishing hampers the profitability of the Australian printing industry.
