James Camilleri, sales director of Oxford Printing & Promotions says, “Over the past few years we have really seen client demand grow for digital and we are now dealing with very large volumes on a daily basis.”
Camilleri continues, “We installed a C6500 last year and have just added a C6501 with a production booklet maker, which has given us the flexibility to respond quickly to client demand and helped us grow our business.”
Konica Minolta says the bizhub PRO colour digital presses are purpose-built for high-volume digital production and make on-demand colour print runs cost-effective for any sized business. The company adds that demand for their versatility has helped Konica Minolta secure a third of the market in the light production space.
David Procter, national production printing group manager at Konica Minolta Australia says, “We have been pleased, but not surprised, by the market’s response to this series. It was designed to offer a real alternative to offset printing for a fraction of the upfront cost.”
He continues, “Businesses in the light production market need a machine that they can afford when they are processing relatively low volumes, but one that is flexible enough to manage high volumes on demand and as their business and client needs grow.”
