Teldon adds fifth to group

Teldon Print Media general manager Volker Wagner has confirmed that he has purchased a fifth company to join his rapidly growing operation in Sydney’s south.

The purchase of Bradlee, Luxton and Dunn comes hot on the heels of the acquisition of Bestway Berk in May of this year. Bradlee, Luxton and Dunn specialises in short-run stationery work, utilising a two-colour Heidelberg Speedmaster 74.

Unlike the previous acquisitions, this company will remain in its current premises, with Teldon moving its existing stationery work, which currently makes up 30 per cent of its business, over to the site. Current Bradlee, Luxton and Dunn general manager Brad Palmer will retain his position at the site.

According to Wagner, the primary output from the site will be carbonless, business card and fulfilment work, and in the end, very little should change at the current site in Taren Point.
“This purchase will enable Teldon to achieve a focus on its varying businesses, meaning that both the high-quality colour and stationery products will be serviced well for all our customers,” says Wagner.

“As usual, everyone has been offered a position within the new company, and we expect to keep the majority of the current inventory.”

Wagner has also confirmed that he will retain the role of Teldon Print Media general manager despite earlier reports that he had ceded the role to former Bestway Berk owner Ben Cribb. Cribb will take the sales manager position within the company.
