Ian Walz, national manager, learning and development at Printing Industries says the course had already been staged successfully in Sydney and was now being made available in regional areas subject to demand.

He says, “We have had some expressions of interest from the Illawarra and ACT regions and are opening up the opportunity to all printers in the south coast area before settling on a convenient location for those wanting to attend.

“Our participants to date have all taken away knowledge that can help reduce energy consumption in their companies and save them substantial amounts of money. The timing is perfect given the increasing electricity costs being imposed in NSW.”

The next Sydney course is scheduled at Printing Industries’ Auburn office on August 17, to be followed by a Newcastle course on August 18.
