At the Summa stand at drupa 2024, managing director of Pozitive Sign and Graphics Phil Trumble presented Summa’s new technology, including the Summa S1 cutter, the F flatbed cutter, and the latest addition to the Summa S range, the S3 cutter, launched at FESPA last year.
Trumble said the S machines have “been a real game changer for sign and graphics in Australia” because they can produce short-run packaging.
He said one of the Summa S1 cutter’s key attributes is its ability to cut out DTF transfers with hands-off speed and accuracy.
“Running with the automated barcode server, it will be able to process a full roll of DTF transfers without human intervention,” said Trumble.
According to Trumble, the Summa F flatbed cutter is a popular choice in the Australian market and is showing some new applications with auto-sheet loading and new tooling developed in the last couple of months.
“It’s really exciting to see they’re still innovating and moving forward with new technology on this machine.”
