The Visual Media Association (VMA) is set to mark a significant day of insights and celebrations, with two major events taking place on Friday October 18; the Open Up to Mail Retail Insights Session and the Real Media Awards Gala Night, celebrating with more than 300 retailers, brands, and agencies across Australia.
Kicking off the day, the Open Up to Mail Insight Session 3 will provide attendees with a comprehensive look into the power of letterbox media in driving consumer engagement – particularly retail marketing.
The event, being held at Melbourne Museum and broadcast by livestream at 10:30am AEST, will showcase data by independent research group The Source, helping retailers and brands leverage print media and the letterbox to cut through digital noise.
From 6:30pm at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), Sovereign Room, the spotlight will shift to the Real Media Awards 2024 Gala Night – celebrating excellence in print, publishing, and retail marketing.
The awards highlight the best campaigns and creative achievements across Australia, from innovative catalogues to engaging direct mail and in-store promotions, all sectors are celebrated.
“The Real Media Awards Gala Night is a celebration of the wonderful work of our industry in using print media to connect with consumers, while our Open Up to Mail sessions explore the evolving role of letterbox marketing as a vital communication channel for brands and retailers – all things print across all its applications is a wonderful day for the industry,” said Kellie Northwood, CEO, VMA.
