WA police investigate arson in $2m print shop blaze

South West Detectives have been investigating since the fire took place in the early hours of the morning on Sunday 14 August and said “subsequent inquiries have established that the fire was deliberately lit”.

The police have released shots from CCTV footage showing three vehicles of interest that had been spotted nearby around the time of the blaze.

Sergeant Julie Hansen said “police are pursuing several lines of inquiry”.

“Information is sought from members of the public to identify the drivers and/or owners of three vehicles seen in the area around the time of the fire.”

The company was co-owned by former police officer Brad Humble, who told ProPrint that Dynamic Print was fully insured but directors were waiting on the outcome of the police investigation.

He said the four former directors of Dynamic Print were all now working elsewhere, but would not comment further due to an ongoing legal process.

A new company, Dynamic Print Pty Ltd was registered on 14 September under the name of Gavin Humble.

Former Dynamic Print manager Paul Sudlow is now working at Bunbury company Express Print. He explained that ex Dynamic Print staff were waiting on unpaid entitlements and that former directors had entered a legal dispute following the fire.
