XYZprinting launches new 3D printer

XYZprinting has released a new professional-grade 3D printer to the Australian market, the Nobel 1.0A.

XYZprinting says the Nobel uses a laser to cure photosensitive resin, producing higher resolution 3D printed objects with a complex geometry.

CEO of XYZprinting, Simon Shen says, “At XYZprinting we are focused on innovation and evolving the 3D printing industry.

He continues, “Our success comes from delivering products that are accessible, high quality, and easy-to-use. Since January, the introduction and momentum of our comprehensive product ecosystem has only further addressed the market’s demand for a full suite of solutions for consumer, B2B, and education markets.”

The printer is embedded with digital light processing (DLP) technology, which prints castable and standard resin, the company says this achieves an efficient and precise user experience and high print quality.

The Nobel requires no assembling, allowing users to ‘plug and play’ from the get go, and has a printing area 25 per cent larger than competitor’s offerings.

The printer is being distributed in Australia by Multimedia Technology with a price tag of $3,499.

The new launch comes in the same week WA-based 3D printer manufacturer Aurora Labs commenced its first day of trading on the ASX, the first Australian 3D company to do so.
