Baldwin appoints local distributor

Peter Tkachuk, managing director of Baldwin Graphic Equipment says, “Plunkett and Johnson serves all the market segments we supply, from sheet-fed to commercial web and newspapers.

He adds, “Its knowledge of Baldwin’s products and customers is extremely valuable and this agreement will strengthen Baldwin’s presence and enhance the quality and speed of technical support in these areas. As well as benefiting from even more responsive after-sales care, it is important to note that our customers will always have Baldwin Graphic Equipment (Sydney) as their single point of contact for all their sales and technical support requirements.”

Maenwhile Alex Imre, managing director of Plunkett and Johnson says his company has been impressed by Baldwin’s pioneering development work and the breadth of its product portfolio, which has resulted in a strong and valued position within the printing industry,

He says, “Baldwin’s products also complement the equipment and technologies we represent on behalf of other leading manufacturers for the graphic arts market, so we’re delighted at Baldwin’s decision to appoint Plunkett and Johnson as its service and sales representative in Australia and New Zealand.

Imre concludes, “We’re confident that this new partnership will result in significant new orders for Baldwin equipment and an even greater level of responsive support for customers.”
