Novasys Group has been appointed by Italian flexographic printing company, BFT Flexo, as its sole distributor for the Australasian region which includes the Australian, New Zealand, Malaysian and Indonesian markets.
Novasys Group is an Australian private company that was formed in January 1993 to provide superior colour management, process control, quality control and environmental solutions to customers throughout Australasia.
The company said it is constantly evaluating technology sourced from throughout the world that may provide cost savings or process improvements for their customers.
“The world-wide situation, due to COVID-19, doesn’t stop the exponential growth of the Italian company BFT Flexo, which specialises in design and manufacturing of automatic inking and wash-up systems,” Novasys CEO Ron Craigie said.
“In the middle of October, it opened up business in the new strategic Oceanian market with Novasys Group’s support.”
According to Craigie, Novasys’ customers are seeking more products that can reduce production costs and standardise printing process.
“For this reason, we found in BFT Flexo a great solution for our market, being able to increase printing process performance, and in the same time, drastically reduce consumption about ink and water,” he said.
BFT Flexo chief operating officer Simone Bonaria said the business is looking forward to being represented by Novasys Group in the Oceanian market.
“We are glad that our company is able to growing and start new collaborations with distributors in far locations despite the pandemic situation that our world is suffering from,” Bonaria said.
“This means that innovative products see no limits. Some may see distant countries as a limit for their businesses due to installation issues, but with our teleservice module mounted as standard on all of our products, we are able to install and commission our systems worldwide without the need for travel.”
