Coles Express-led Movember project a great success

The Coles Express-led Movember project that Mezographic, Ball & Doggett and Arden Building came together for again this year has seen great success, with the Coles Group collectively raising more than $1 million and Coles Express sites raising $367,000.

Coles Express project manager Ian Lockwood said, “The final numbers are in and collectively the Coles Group (supermarkets, liquor and Express) raised $1,064,369 for Movember.

“Coles Express Sites raised $367 000 – 34 per cent of the overall total group funds raised through customer donations via round ups at the register, combo deals and merchandise sales. Coles Group is officially the top corporate donor for Movember 2022 and the first to go over the $1 million mark.”

This year 58 Coles Express sites – 16 in Queensland, 12 in NSW, 14 in Victoria, two in Tasmania, four in SA and 10 in WA – donned the “Your Dough will Save a Bro” decal as the company aimed to exceed last year’s phenomenal fundraising effort of $366,660.

As done in 2021, the project involved the generous supply of one-way vision film by Damian Pocock from Ball & Doggett, which was used for the window decals, while Frank Mezo from Mezographic manufactured, packed and shipped the signage as a donation to the sites.

Richard Pitcher from Arden Building installed the decals and included the removal of the decals post-campaign as a donation.
