Colour Graphic to offer offset upgrade service

At drupa colour management specialist Colour Graphic Services signed up to distribute a new service called Printflow to its Australian customers.

Printflow claims its combination of software and hardware can upgrade offset presses of any age, bringing them in line with CIP3 standards with automated, closed loop ink control.

David Crowther from Colour Graphic Services says Printflow is quick and easy to install and will work on nearly all offset presses.

“Printflow is an ideal fit to our existing process control products from Techkon, Just Normlicht and Mellow Colour. The benefits are huge, with presses achieving correct colour more quickly and then holding that colour throughout the run,” he says.

“We can retrofit to most presses and bring printers closed-loop colour control in two to three days, it is all benefits with no downside. Printflow DIPS, DC and Inkflow are profit-accretive from the first job onwards.”

Crowther finalised the partnership with Printflow vice president Bran Sulla during drupa. Sulla will be visiting Australia for the first time during next year’s PacPrint.

Sulla says, “We have over 2000 Printflow systems installed around the world, mostly in North America and they have proven to be a reliable investment for printers, with a very fast ROI in time, accuracy and ink usage.

“The oldest press we have retrofitted is 1986 and the newest 2015. We look forward to working with David and his team in the Australian market.”
