Dame Edna impersonator to host WA PICAs

Final preparations for the 38th annual Western Australia Printing Industries Craftsmanship Awards (PICAs) are underway with the finalists to be announced on the night already selected.

Those attending will be treated to the comedy delights of host of the night, a Dame Edna impersonator and a three course meal with a wine, beer and sparkling beverage package.

PIAA CEO Andrew Macaulay says, “The night is for WA businesses to celebrate their endless hard work in a challenging, exciting and creative industry.

He continues, “This is an exciting time for print and media technologies, and the industry deserves a fantastic outlet to showcase its accomplishments and enjoy a memorable evening together.”

The Gold Logie themed night will be held at the Rendezvous Hotel in Scarborough on November 12 and RSVP’s close on October 28.

The Queensland PICA’s are also taking place, they are on Friday next week, November 4, at the Pullman Hotel in Brisbane’s King George Square.
