Dolphin Worxs management shakeup

MIS developer Dolphin Worxs is making a number of changes to its senior management including CEO Stephanie Gaddin stepping down to the COO position.

Current CTO and co-owner Tobie van Dyk will take the CEO role, while Trentin Barnard co-owner, CIO and enterprise architect has left the business through a share sale agreement with van Dyk.

Van Dyk offered his best wishes for Barnard, “I wish him all the best for his future endeavours, and I am excited to take this next step for Dolphin with our clients and partners.”

Gaddin, who was in the role for 6 years took the COO position to focus on other projects and to focus on global operations.

“I started another business, I stepped down to have a bit of time in my calendar working 24 hours a week rather than full time. This gives me time to work on the other venture I have started,” she says.

Gaddin is nothing but positive when answering about the new CEO van Dyk.

“We are pretty good friends, he is also one of the owners of Dolphin, I think it is going to be interesting. The company thought we needed a different strategy,” she says.

“The changes reflect our expectation that 2017 will bring with it numerous opportunities inside the print industry, we believe these changes position Dolphin to best provide continued services to our existing clients and the broader industry.”

Dolphin Worxs supply cloud based management information systems for the print industry.
