Durst Group, a world leader in the manufacture of digital printing and production technologies, has been announced as the platinum sponsor and a major exhibitor at the upcoming Label + Packaging Expo in Sydney.
Durst has been represented in Australia and New Zealand by Photo Electronic Services (PES) for more 25 years and will team up with local partners to exhibit at the expo, which is co-locating at the Sydney Showground in August with PrintEx19.
The manufacturer, already well known for its flatbed Rho and P5 devices, says the Label + Packaging Expo will provide it with the opportunity to debut the latest TAU RSC Series label and packaging solutions.
Matt Ashman, sales manager for Durst in Australia and New Zealand, says the show will provide a platform for some exciting announcements from the company and an opportunity to showcase the company’s latest label and packaging technology.
“We’ll be bringing more than $2.5 million of the very latest in efficient, environmentally friendly and profitable digital UV inkjet printers including the TAU RSC and the P5 250 HS, plus associated technologies and software, to demonstrate live at the Sydney show,” Ashman said.
Paul Sanelli, recently appointed by Durst as a dedicated sales executive for labels, says the team is looking forward to the show.
“Label + Packaging Expo is the ideal opportunity to demonstrate these solutions in action and introduce our local and international product specialists to print, label and packaging businesses, so that we can discuss how they can grow their businesses and maximise profitability in a dynamic and exciting market,” he says.
“Perhaps even more importantly, we are also working on some very important announcements which we will be able to share with Label + Packaging Expo and PrintEx visitors, which we believe will further cement our relationships and activities in this part of the world.”
As a Platinum Sponsor of the show, Durst is also throwing its support behind the industry itself.
“Australia and New Zealand rightly have a reputation for being world leaders in technological advancement and innovation, and to Durst these have always been very key markets for our new technologies,” Ashman says.
“We firmly believe in the value of industry exhibitions, as they create an ideal opportunity for decision makers to connect with new suppliers, see the very latest technologies and solutions, and gather important information and ideas to help them build success.
“Durst is proud to support Label + Packaging Expo as a Platinum Sponsor and we look forward to working with Visual Connections and the wider industry to ensure that this show, together with PrintEx and Visual Impact, is a valuable step towards the continued success and leadership of businesses across the Australian and New Zealand industry.”
The team from Durst and PES will be on Stand R28 at the Label + Packaging Expo, which is to be held alongside PrintEx at the Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park, from 13-16 August this year.
