HP Indigo ups the speed with 3000

Also on the Currie stand were a pair of HP Indigo digital presses, the 1000 and 3000. the HP Indigo 1000 is the company’s standard machine, and is installed in grater numbers than all other Indigos. The 3000 is a faster machine, delivering up to 4000 four-colour sheets an hour four colour, it uses a different paper delivery systems, has a wider range of substrates, can print up to seven colours, and uses Series 2 technology. It has been designed for commercial printers. Spot colours can be specified using HP IndiChrome, enabling accurate reproduction of 95 per cent of the Pantone range. Substrate range is between 80-350gsm, with both coated and uncoated papers able to be used. HP Indigo is working hard to convince printers of the benefits of installing and running its machines, it has flexible finance packages available, it also offers comprehensive marketing advice, and providers full service back up. In the 18 months since Curries took over the Australian agency sales have doubled, clearly the nation’s print community feels confident partnering with the company, which is one of the pre-eminent suppliers and has been for many years.
