LIA to present Ipex review tomorrow

The Lithographic Institute of Australia NSW branch will present an Ipex review tomorrow night (Friday) to clue in printers on the highs and lows of what was once the world’s second biggest printing trade show.

Attendees will hear first-hand from industry identities who attended the show about the major happenings in the rapidly changing print environment, and discuss what was shown, and indeed whether there will be another Ipex.

The event could be worthwhile for many, since 87 per cent of printers who voted in a February ProPrint poll said they would not be attending Ipex.

The evening, which includes dinner, will be presented by industry commentator and veteran of many trade shows Andy McCourt, who ‘wore the soles of his feet off walking the halls of Ipex in search of all that was new and all that was interesting, and he came across some really fascinating technology’.

The Ipex 2014 Review will take place at North Ryde RSL at 6pm tomorrow Friday June 13.

Bookings of $60.00 for members and $70.00 for non-members can be made to Mike Williams at mikewil@optusnet.com.au
