RedTie to expand Australian presence

RedTie currently has a small presence in the Australian market with a handful of customers and a direct sales channel.

The company has a strong presence in the UK and a growing footprint in the US, and is looking to bolster its Australia arm in the third-quarter, said founder Marian Stefani (pictured).

RedTie’s presentation at the event was backed up by a string of customer testimonials, including Lucas Eyre, managing director of Australian company Print Portal.

Eyre said RedTie’s products meant the Sydney-based printer could be a “partner, not just a supplier” to its clients, adding that the web-based system let Print Portal handle work “faster and more efficiently”.

RedTie sales and marketing director Natalie Pritchard used the summit to explain how RedTie’s tools would makes buying print online “as easy as buying a book or CD”.

Pritchard said: “We are looking after the Google generation of young marketing execs who want to order print in a simple way.”

The developer’s products comprise RedTie Template (RTT) and RedTie Quotation.

RTT is the entry-level solution that facilitates the ordering of marketing collateral and printed materials online.

The RTQ tool was “created with the more experienced print buyer in mind” and offers instant quotes and the ability to upload jobs and artwork online, plus online job tracking.
