Salmat renews Woolworths catalogue distribution contract

The Australia and New Zealand distribution contract runs for three years and is one of Salmat’s largest distribution deals.

The work will also cover Woolworths group members such as Big W, Dan Murphys and Dick Smith.

Chief executive Grant Harrod said the deal had cemented Salmat’s position as a leading player in the ANZ distribution game.

“Our relationship with Woolworths spans over two decades and this decision is further proof that Salmat’s catalogue distribution model is the most robust and reliable network in Australia and New Zealand,” he said.

“Woolworths are a key strategic partner and I would like to thank them for continuing to put their trust in Salmat.”

The company added that and catalogues were the core marketing service for the retail sector within Australia despite the growth of the online world.

Woolworths renewed its heatset printing contract with PMP in May 2010. In March 2010, PMP won Target’s distribution contract, which had been held by Salmat.
