The company,s vice president of marketing Scott Schinlever says that the company believes the new PressVu will drive rapid adoption of UV technology.
“The message came back loud and clear to us that what people wanted was a lower price point to be able to get into this business,” Schinlever says.
The machine was designed specifically to appeal to commercial imaging shops looking to achieve high end image quality and greater productivity at affordable cost.
The PressVu 200/600 give four and six colour 600dpi photographic colour reproduction and crisp text reproduction, the company says. It prints on roll to roll and rigid substrates, with a simple switch over process that can be done by one person.
Vutek also displayed the PressVu UV 180/600 EC flatbed printer and the
UltraVu 3360 EC solvent roll-to-roll printing system.
