Worldwide supporting health enterprize

National printing chain Worldwide Printing Solutions have partnered with social enterprize The Root Cause, donating  $10,500 dollars to the mission.

The print franchise presented the donation during its national conference in Tasmania earlier this year to founder Belinda Smith.

According to The Root Cause, the $10,500 dollar sum was enough to put 750 school children through their Mad Food Science programme.

Worldwide Printing also supports The Root Cause through designing and printing aprons and table cloths, business cards and brochures for the charity.

Worldwide supplier partners Konica Minolta and Fuji Xerox also supported the cause with donations of $1000 dollars at the national conference.

The Root Cause is an educational initiative which teaches schoolchildren and parents about healthy eating for school lunches. Belinda Smith sold her family home, bought a bus and now travels around Australia with her husband Isreal and children educating kids and parents about the benefits of healthy lunch boxes.

“I am 100 per cent confident that Worldwide Printing Solutions support is paramount to the success of my education programs. Their printed materials help keep the conversation going at home- this is when change really happens,” says Smith.

At Worldwide Printing Solutions' conference held in Tasmania in February this year, the franchisees, sponsors and staff were 'particularly moved' by Smith's presentation.

Worldwide says, "Belinda presented some confronting information about the future of kids’ health and how together with Worldwide Printing Solutions’ support, they are succeeding in transforming children’s health around Australia."

Worldwide Printing Solutions managing director Rob Dallimore says, "we know that Belinda and Israel are passionate about their cause and we look forward to supporting them every kilometre of the way."
