Printers will again have the opportunity to join with their customers and celebrate all things print at the Real Media Awards in August 2020.
Entries are now open for the awards and printers are urged to enter their work to demonstrate their client’s most successful brand and retail marketing campaigns from catalogues to magazines, point of sale and direct mail. The Excellence in Craft award is a special category for commercial print marketing which is often the shortlist award for the Judges’ Choice award.
Major categories include Brand of the Year, Media Brand Advertiser of the Year and Retailer of the Year.
“The Real Media Awards is dedicated to all things ‘real’, real results, effectiveness and campaigns demonstrating strong engagement, activation and return on investment. We know how effective print is and if you’ve achieved something great with your client, then enter the awards, bring your client along and celebrate the work you’ve achieved together,” The Real Media Collective chief executive officer Kellie Northwood said.
“We are keen to have our industry celebrated for its effectiveness, craft and excellence as a relevant marketing channel in the modern era. Our awards program is all about bringing the printers and customers to celebrate their innovation and success, collectively – their industry.”
Each year the Real Media Awards has enjoyed growth with 700 entries and attendees participating at last year’s event at the Melbourne Convention Centre.
“Each year we are seeing more and more entrants talking through the story of their success, the journey their campaigns have taken and the results that have been achieved, it is wonderful to see the success of print marketing at work and we look forward to a bigger and better event this year,” Northwood said.
The Real Media Collective has put together a handy pocket reference guide which explains the categories and how to enter with all entries due by May 22 with the The Real Media Awards Gala be held on August 28. To enter please follow this link.
The Real Media Awards recognise the work of advertising, graphic design, retail, distribution and print and was formerly known as the Australasian Catalogue Awards. Catalogues are a major feature of the awards but the scope has broadened to include excellence in letterbox marketing, publishing, direct mail, point of sale and marketing efficacy across Australia and New Zealand.
Entries for the 2020 awards close on May 22. If you need more information or have questions about which category to enter please contact awards leader Phillip Mariette at [email protected] or awards event specialist Duyen Nguyen at [email protected].
